The Autobots must stop a colossal planet-consuming robot who is after the Autobot Matrix of Leadership.
Ok, when I was younger I am certain that I was taken to watch this movie when it was original released but it was released twenty-six years, so gimme a break I really cannot remember (I have vague memories of the toy based merchandise just not the movie). But none the less revisiting Transformers: The Movie filled me up with those sugary sweet feelings of bliss, that all of us need to partake in to hopefully prevent us from becoming bitter and cynical bastards.
At a glance it becomes pretty clear quickly that in the proceeding twenty-six years that a lot has changed with the artwork and animation techniques that go into making a movie. It is also pretty clear that this unlike any other family that has been released in recent years. You only have to look to the fact that Megatron unlike the live action portrayal actually transformed into a gun in the cartoon movie.
