Detective Jack Mosley is assigned to transport convict Eddie Bunker 16 blocks to the court house to testify in front of a grand jury. Soon Mosley finds out that there are forces within the New York Police Department that want Bunker dead.
16 Blocks is a great movie with a similar plot to Clint Eastwood’s 1977 classic The Gantlet. This movie deals with the significant idea of the perception of what is right and how easily that can be warped. Bruce Willis was well suited to his role while you can’t help but sympathize with Mos Def’s character and the brilliance he brought to the role.
