A mercenary takes a job smuggling a woman from China to New York. However, he does not realise that this woman is will give birth to a genetically modified baby that a cult wants to use as their Messiah.
Vin Diesel as an actor he is well rounded enough to take a comic or dramatic role and give a great performance he seems to be destined to be action superstar.
Melanie Thierry almost stole the whole movie as she seems to have this quality about her where for some reason I was unable to take my eyes off of her, while she was on screen.
The speculative side of science fiction is one of the more interesting aspects of the genere and Babylon A.D goes for this in a big way. Now if you look at the world now in the year 2008 with global warming being such an isue, visually Babylon A.D. isn’t that far off of what the future of the world could be.
