Based on the infamous Baker Street Robbery when in September of 1971 thieves tunneled into the Lloyds bank and looted the safe deposit boxes, netting over 3 million pounds in cash and jewelry. Nobody was arrested and nothing was ever recovered.

An amazing part of history that for the most part has gone unnoticed since the robbery portrayed in the film was committed. The Bank Job doesn’t really dwell on how the heist was committed instead it focuses on why the heist was planned and what happened after the heist and how the robbers managed to get away with the crime. I believe that Jason Stratham is a brilliant choice for any thriller or action movie .
