Australian Cinema and Entertainment group, Village Entertainment has today announced a collaboration between Village Cinemas and the innovative child-minding service, KidsCo Australia. On Sunday 9 December, KidsCo Australia’s qualified teachers will keep children aged between 5 and 12, engaged and entertained at Vjunior at Village Cinemas Southland; giving parents the opportunity to tackle the Christmas shopping at Westfield Southland. The three-hour Supervised Super Session will include Vjunior admission for the highly anticipated Christmas film of the year, The Grinch, as well as a creative arts and crafts session guided by the KidsCo Australia qualified teachers. A hot lunch, popcorn and drink during the movie will top off the special holiday program while parents remain within Westfield Southland.
Mo Bhargava, General Manager Sales and Marketing at Village Entertainment said the
collaboration was a perfect match; “We believe that with the creation of Vjunior we filled a gap in the market for children’s entertainment. It’s certainly exciting to collaborate with KidsCo Australia to further enhance this offering, and entertain kids in a creative, fun and safe environment.”
Bhargava explained that KidsCo Australia was run by energetic and passionate teachers and was established to alleviate the stress of childcare, by offering accessible and affordable programs for busy parents during the school holidays.
Co-founder Laynton Allan said there’s no busier time of year than the Christmas season, so he’s sure the Supervised Super Session will be a hit.
“Every parent will know the juggling act of trying to get all the Christmas shopping and
preparation sorted while managing the over excited kids leading up to Christmas. Our
company was founded to make moments like this easier for busy parents. We’re thrilled to be partnering with Village Cinemas to provide this innovate holiday solution, and hope it not only brings a few peaceful shopping hours to Mum and Dad, but provides a
fun and engaging school holiday experience their kids will remember for some time.” Allan commented.
