A ferry in New Orleans full of Mardi gras party goers is blown up in a terrorist attack. ATF agent Doug Carlin ( Washington ) is brought to help with the investigation, he ends up being attached to an experimental FBI surveillance group that has the ability to look four and a half days into the past. During the course of the investigation Doug gets the idea to use the technology to try and stop the ferry from ever blowing up.

Deja Vu is a brilliant what if scenario that are usually given to us by these science fiction thriller movies. Deja Vu is everything that you would expect from a movie produced by Jerry Bruckheimer. Director Tony Scott made great use of the New Orleans area showing those of us who may have never visited just how a contrasting town it really is. Denzel gave his best as he always does. However, I believe the shining star of the movie would have to be James Caviezel.
