Pai has grown up under the reign of the Empire. Although she’s hardly taken notice of the intergalactic war raging around her, she’ll soon find that destiny cannot be kept at bay.
Wow. I am so glad that I stumbled across this one YouTube. Its been a while since I have last reviewed Star Wars Fan Film and probably just as long since I have last reviewed a fan film that has a beginning, a middle and an ending. If memory serves the last fan film that I reviewed was Pretty Soldier Sailor Moon: The Movie.
I know that l am going to be gushing over Remnants of the Order but its that dam good. My first thoughts while watching this was that it must have had an amazing budget, but its more likely that this film was made by people who gave this film the care and attention to detail that it deserved. The effects for the spaceships are amazing.
I loved July Janssen’s and Abel Sanders’ performance as Pai and Uncle Bolo with a runtime of I genuinely cared for these characters something other filmmakers struggle to do with their characters in feature length movies. I also firmly believe that the same approach to Pai (particularly towards the end of the movie) was used with the character of Rey in the Disney Sequel Trilogy (throughout her story in The Force Awakens) there would be less of a fan backlash towards Disney about the quality of the characters and story being told in the sequel trilogy.
