“We are really excited to bring this unique Christmas in July experience to Canberra. In a time when we cannot travel, we hope to transport people to a magical and festive place and bring the feel of Strasbourg’s (Eastern France) most beautiful winter Christmas market to Australia’s capital city.” Festival Director Vincent Hernandez commented.
Hernandez explained that the festival was launched in the Rocks in Sydney in 2018, the event created an immediate sensation. In 2019, the Christmas in July saw 250,000 visiting the Rocks over 4 days to enjoy the cold winter Christmas experience.
