When a single mom and her two kids arrive in a small town, they begin to discover their connection to the original Ghostbusters and the secret legacy their grandfather left behind.

For starters I would like to congratulate Mr. Paul Feig for getting the nothing burger of a digital code of his 2016 Ghostbusters movies added to the recently released Ghostbusters boxset. We all know that making another Ghostbusters movie was a risky thing to do, especially when you take into consideration the fact that Nostalgia-Bait movies sometimes fall into the trap of infuriating existing fans of a given franchise in an effort to attract newer fans. The other risk was the fact that Ivan Reitman’s son Jason Reitman took over the directing duties, most people might not have seen this as a problem but the last time I came across an example of where a son has directed the sequel to an existing movie (where it didn’t work) was with Charles Winkler’s 2006 The Net 2.0 which was the sequel to his father Irwin Winkler’s 1995 movie The Net. This is a great example of a nostalgia-bait movie that was actually done right it respected the fans, has certainly attracted new audience and managed to do something that JJ Abrhams failed to do for the audience with The Rise of Skywalker giving the audience an on-screen moment with Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd, Harold Ramis & Ernie Hudson together and there was appearances by Annie Potts as Janine Melnitz and Sigourney Weaver as Dana Barrett. I was a little surprised to see Bokeem Woodbine because it has been a while since I have last seen him in a movie. I loved the performances of Mckenna Grace as Phoebe Spengler and Logan Kim as Podcast. I loved the friendship between the two characters they had a great dynamic. The direction Phoebe’s character went had me tearing up at its climax. The baby pufts certainly are cute, yet perhaps a little cringeworthy, yet I can’t help but think that some of their scenes where cut.
