This is clearly not the best movie ever made, granted it does have some creative action sequences. However, they where not enough to carry the entire movie. I believe that Black Scorpian 2 failed in its use Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) and therefore will not be remembered for its action sequences. Movies like Never Back Down managed to show how excting MMA can be to the auidence.
I would be interested to know the title writer Randal McCormick originally gave his screenplay considering that this movie clearly is a prequel masquerading as a sequel, It should be noted that Dwayne Johnson turned down the chance to reprise his role in this movie.
