Garan is a part of a group of international hitmen who are contracted to take out the most dangerous killer in the world, only to find out that they’re the ones being hunted.

For those of you who might be interested, King of Killers was based on Darkstorm Comics by Kevin Grevioux. It was good to see that Grevioux who wrote the graphic novel the movie was based on was also the director that way (even though I didn’t read the graphic novel) we can assume the visual style of the movie would be similar to the novel. I’ll admit it, the reason I decided to watch this one was because I watched a clip from the movie that featured Stephen Dorff and realized that it had been awhile since I last saw him in a movie and the fact that Frank Grillo made King of Killers seem kind of promising. The fact that the main character Garan was a devoted family man was an interesting and different take on the secret identity. The action though varied was slightly uninspired. It will be interesting to see if the King of Killers Prequel TV  series and origin story for Garan gets made.
