When Champ’s bar is closed down for illegal wrestling, Derek and Jeff are left unemployed. With only a few days to train, create another wrestling arena, promote it and beat Jeff’s nemis Switchblade Rick. So that Jeff can get the girl and save his uncle’s junkyard.
Yes there are sports movies that can be and rightfully should be considered masterpieces. Sadly like most sport movies dealing with wrestling this isn’t one of them, and this really is one of those movies when you can either take it or leave it, personally I would urge you to leave it because this movie really didn’t do anything to make itself seem special considering two of the three lead actors made their starts in less the memorable sitcoms of the 90’s.This couldn’t be more stereotypical if it tried and to be perfectly honest the plot of this movie probably would have been more at home as a storyline used by the WWE or TNA wrestling promotions. In the spirit of honesty it really would surprise me that much if it hasn’t allready been used half a dozen times.
