A classic tale originally written by Alexander Dumas of cloak and dagger politics, surrounding a plot to overthrow the King of France this tale will continue to be retold while this offering of The Three Musketeers by Disney is not the best interpretation of the tale though it doesn’t disappointment.
The Three Musketeers is very much a boy’s own adventure with a cast that is more the capable of the task that has been set down before them. All of the leading men seem to be the living embodiment of the characters they play, particularly Tim Curry portrayal as Cardinal Richelieu who I believe is one of the finest movie villains of all time.
