ACT Liberal Senator Gary Humphries commented that the ACT Government is still yet to clearly outline the additional costs that Federal Labor’s carbon tax will have on Canberra’s hospitals. Senator Humphries pointed that Western Australia is the latest state to outline the extra cost their hospitals with an estimated $6-$7 million per year in additional costs.
“When New South Wales, Victoria, Western Australia and Queensland have all completed detailed studies and outlined how much extra they expect to pay as result of the carbon tax, it is unacceptable for Katy Gallagher to sit back and just watch as the federal Labor again hacks into Canberra.” Senator Humphries said.
