Okay, just like the previous In the Name of the King controversial German director Uwe Boll directed movie In the name of the King: Two Worlds. Many of you out there will find that to be enough reason to leave this on the shelf of your friendly neighbourhood DVD store. I do not blame you, though for the record Uwe Boll actually has directed a movie that it is actually worth watching. Though In the name of the King: Two Worlds is not that movie.
Any fantasy genre movie that it is worth watching will suck you in with everything that it has, and there were some wild and wonderful locations in this movie. Unfortunately, Two Worlds did not have an epic feel too it. Because, there were not the sweeping landscape shots that was so attractive in the previous film. Granted this is a part of a potential trilogy but two worlds seemed to have the most tenuous of links with the original movie.
Character exposition is a wonderful thing but Herr Boll and Mister Nachoff ‘why did you tell us what happened in between the two movies when a movie is such a visually rich medium?’
