When an MMA world champion is lured into the illegal world of underground cage fighting by an elusive promoter, he quickly realizes that the only way out is to kill or to be killed.

This is the first time that I have watched that I have watched a movie starring Héctor Echavarría, this is the also hopefully the last time that I will watch a movie that he is involved in. I have a rule of thumb that a first actor will shows signs of talent after five movies, if their first role was awful. Taking into consideration that Echavarría has been acting for twenty-five years I doubt that there any signs that he will ever show any signs of talent as an actor. I also have to wonder if it’s a sign of arrogance on the part of Echavarría that he has a track record of being a actor, writer, director and producer in some of his movies.
I highly advise that you watch Never Surrender at the end of a movie marathon when you start show signs of having difficulty to operate your DVD player. Echavarría has delivered a slow placed vanity project with no signs of an original plot that tried and failed to set him some kind of Bruce Lee figure. In reality what was delivered was movie that was at best two degrees away from being regarded as ‘adult entertainment’.
