Armed and dangerous, the Flying Squad (rhyming slang Sweeney Todd) have their own unique way of operating, however, they always get the results. With a bank heist in progress and his old enemy making a re-appearance on the London crime scene, Regan will do whatever it takes to get the job done.

Okay, I am too young to have watched the television series and the subsequent two films. However, after watching this remake I think I am going to have to get my act together and watch the two original movies. Director Nick Love who also wrote the screenplay really brought something special to the screen. I loved his shots of London and the panache that you would usually expect from a British Gangster flick.
Top Gear presenters Richard Hammond, Jeremy Clarkson and James May received a stunt credit when they assisted filming the climatic car chase in episode 3 of series 18.

On an interesting side note star, Ray Winstone had a role as an extra in the original television series.
