Hunted by raiders, a band of crusading knights escort the Holy Grail through a valley of Black Death where they must hack and slash their way to freedom.
Even though I watch them, I can’t really say that I have considered myself that much of a fan of horror movies. But I believe that horror movies that have a fantasy or medieval setting have the scope to build themselves into something really interesting. Knight of the Dead might have had that scope but it fell on its ass very quickly proving to be something that should only be viewed with your friends, after the consumption of alcohol and when there is nothing else to do. This had a slow almost snail like pace, normally I would have tried to dismissed this as the filmmakers trying to build tension, but with a run time that’s under 90 minutes the filmmakers really needed to hit the gas pedal as soon as the opening credits finished.
