A man takes over a TV station and holds a number of hostages as a political platform to awaken humanity, instead of money.

I remember watching Rampage a few years ago and was blown away because it was the first brilliant movie that I watched by Uwe Boll (Yes I know the words Uwe Boll and brilliant movie generally don’t go together but everybody is allowed the occasional flash of brilliance) after looking through my files it looks like that I did not review it at the time, so if I might have to revisit the movie and review it. As soon as I found out about the second Rampage movie had been made I was compelled to find a copy of it, I found that Capital Punishment managed to surpass Boll’s 2009 movie not only with the intensity of the action but with the message that Boll was trying to get across with the message that he was trying to get across about Gun Control, the distribution of wealth and resources and the media and the distribution of information. It was great to see Lochlyn Munro pop up in this one, he is a sentimental favourite of mine, I really have not actively watch anything that he has been in, it just seems that he is in so many movies that its almost inevitable that I am going to see him in something.
After watching this not only am I eagerly await any potential third movie in Boll’s Rampage series, but I am also going to have to make a serious effort to remember to check out some more of Brendan Fletcher’s work.
