The Night Crew centers on a group of hard up bounty hunters who must survive the night in a desert motel against a horde of savage border runners. They soon realize that their fugitive, a mysterious Chinese woman, is much more than she lets on.
I’m not overly familiar with Christian Sesma’s work as a director but with The Night Crew he has actually delivered something that was kind of interesting, it starts off as a basic action movie but over time it morphs into something completely different. I can only wonder if it is going to openly embrace what it turned into should any potential sequel gets made because one of the most notable where a movie has openly embraced it’s genre and everything that goes along with it was the second of the Johnny English movies.
For those of you who might not know I’m a fan of Luke Goss’ work, he’s an okay actor who how has been in more than a few lower budget action movies. The kind of movies where there might be one or two effects shots that might not look entirely right if you give them a second glance.
