TV Week is excited to announce that music sensation Delta Goodrem will perform her new single, “Dear Life”, at the 58th TV Week Logie Awards in Melbourne on May 8, the first exclusive television performance of this song. “Dear Life” will be released on May 6. It was co-written with Sydney songwriters DNA, who helped out with her No. 1 hit, “Wings”, which achieved platinum sales in 2015.
Delta says it’s a thrill to have the opportunity to perform “Dear Life” at this year’s TV Week Logie Awards. “It will be my first performance of the new song and I’m just really honoured to do it at a place I call home, like the Logies,” Delta says. “The song will only have been released one or two days before, so for a lot of people it will be their first time hearing the song. It will be a great moment. I’m really looking forward to singing it to a crowd of people who are my peers and friends from over the years.”
TV Week Editor Emma Nolan is looking forward to the performance just as much. “Ever since she played the role of Nina Tucker on Neighbours in 2002, Delta has been a favourite in the TV Week office,” Nolan commented “Not only a talented actress and mentor on The Voice Australia, Delta has produced hit after hit as an artist and I can’t wait to see her take the Logies stage for what will no doubt be another show-stopping performance.”
