A new recruitment campaign for ACT Fire & Rescue was launched recently. Police and Emergency Services Minister Simon Corbell, has urged Canberrans to apply for a position.
“ACT Fire & Rescue will be searching to fill a range of positions to make sure the ACT remains well protected against the threat of fire,” Mr Corbell said.
Mr Corbell commented that after completing an orientation program, successful applicants will go into a recruit college that lasts approximately four months The recruits will be posted to one of the nine stations across the Territory..
Those that are interested will be able to speak with fire fighters at information sessions planned for the 18th and 20th of February, 2012 at the new ESA Training Centre in Hume. For More Information
