Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone 2001
Glenfinnan Viaduct, Inverness-Shire, Scotland
Snaking for 257km, the West Highland Line is one of the world’s most scenic railways. And with its 21 arches, each 30m high and with a 15m span, the Glenfinnan Viaduct at the top of Loch Shiel is one of its most impressive bridges. And at the beginning of every school term, a magic locomotive crosses the viaduct during its non-stop journey from King’s Cross in London to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
